The Howl & The Hum perform tracks from Cassette Club Release Virtually Tonight on Oporto TV.
Ahead of Thursdays Chalkpit Cassette Club’s pre-sale of CCC-01 The Howl & The Hum: The Unheard Studio Collection. Sam from the band performed a selection of tracks from the record, live at Oporto Bar in Leeds on Wednesday 8th September 2021 at 7pm (BST).
For its first release, ‘Chalkpit Cassette Club’ has teamed up with Leeds/York based alt-rockers The Howl & The Hum and Leeds label Come Play With Me. A balancing act between insightful, literate song-writing and buoyant indie-rock sound, The Howl & The Hum’s music combines influences as varied as Allen Ginsberg and Lizzo, resulting in an unforgettable sonic cocktail that is a refreshing respite in an over-saturated industry. Striving to constantly innovate and to write music for the depths of the human soul, this quartet are definitely someone to look out for.
